"Fettler" is powered by a Ruston 2VSH twin diesel - the "beating Heart" in dedicated engine room forward of the original boatman's cabin : the main cabins were refitted by DJ Narrowboats of Crick with further professional joinery added by the current owner who has, in turn, continued all maintenance to include blacking the hull and baseplate religiously every two years (Debdale Wharf).
